History

■In 1958. Hangzhou Shuikou Machinery Plant., the predecessor of the company, was set up in Liuxia Town, Xihu District of Hangzhou, mainly involving repair and production of various sorts of pumps.

■In 1968, the plant was renamed Hangzhou Hongfeng Farm Machinery Plant, designed and made tea rolling machines, mullers, and air hammers.

■In 1979, was renamed Hangzhou Hongfeng  Machinery Factory, developed drainage valves.

■In 1990, obtained the qualification for designated manufacturer of chemical process pumps by the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and had the new name of Hangzhou Alkali Pump Plant.

■In 1995, won ISO9002 quality management system certification, being the eighth one in Zhejiang Province, the third one in Hangzhou, and the first one of the domestic pump manufacturers which passed the ISO9000 authentication.

■In 1997, the company was able to produce pumps of 10 categories with total 3000 specifications, became a major supplier for the chemical, petrochemical, electric power, metallurgical, paper-making, and water-treatment industries.

■In 1998,succeeded in trial of reform of cooperative share system.

■In 1999,changed into a liabilities limited company and was renamed Hangzhou Alkali Pump Corporation.

■In 2001, all employees completed the move of “replacement of service length”, the company strode a big step toward the establishment of a modern enterprise system.

■In2003, the projects of new plant and chemical pump production line technological transformation were approved to obtain support by the national industry policy, the total investment reached RMB 20mln.

■In 2005, passed the class-2 validation of ISO10012 metering testing system.In oct. 2005,the headquarter moved to the new area of Sandun West Lake Technological Park.

■In2006, won the title of Zhejiang Provincial Hi-tech Enterprise, passed Grade AAA validation of good conducts in standardization. The sales income exceeded RMB 100mln.

■In 2007,the project of national Torch Program IJ standard chemical process pump passed the acceptance smoothly. Work on Huzhou Production Base started with total investment RMB80 mln.

■In 2008, won the title of national hi-tech enterprise, sales income exceeded RMB 160mln.The first phase of Huzhou Production Base was completed successfully.

■In 2009, the company obtained famous brand of Hangzhou artificate.And in the same year,Hangzhou Alkali pump CO.LTD was selected as the key corporation for National Torch program.

■In 2010, Alkalipump CO;LTD was accepted as Zhejiang provincial Hi-tech corporation R＆D center. And successfully in the same year, Alkalipump was accepted as qualified supplier of Datang Corporation, Huadian Corporation and HuanQiu Contracting ＆ Engineering Corporation.
