1、Introduction
IJ series chemical process pump absorbs techniques in API 610 the 10th edition and ASME B73.1-2001 standard, and is a successful upgrade and innovation based on IH pump (a Chenese standard chemical process pump series)during the 7th five-year development plan in China. IJ series chemical process pump is a centrifugal pump of horizontal, single stage, single suction, cantilever design, its performance parameters conform to GB/T5662 standard(corresponding to ISO2858).Adopting advanced hydraulic design,the pump possesses higher hydraulic efficiency, heightening by 5% in comparison with IT pump, and thus it is an energy-saving product. In the design of structure, by referring to American ANSI standard, the shaft diameter is increased and cantilever ratio is shorten to eliminate the shortages that IH pump’s shaft breaks frequently, thus operational stability inproves, maintenance fee and operational cost decreases.Through uninterrupted research and improvement on mechanical seal and seal chamber by referring to American API682 standard, 171 series mechanical seal is developed and applied successfully to the industries of soda, chlorine-alkali, salt-making, metallurgy, paper-making and environmental protection as well as other industries where the medium is liable to crystallize or contain solid particles,IJ series chemical process pump can adopt other seal plans recommended by API 610. Through Over ten years’ improvement and models development, the applicable scope of IJ series pump is gradually extended, presently there are over 100 specifications, covering the applications of all the chemical processes under pressure 2.5 MPa and temperature 200℃. IJ series is one of three main chemical process pump series extensively applied along with CZ and ZA series in China.
